My name is Marianna and I am passionate about Pilates.
I began practicing pilates for its ability to really make a difference to one’s health. It has helped me to re-educate my body on how to move more efficiently, to re-pattern bad posture, improve core stability, tone and lengthen and strengthen muscles. Overall, it gave me a new sense of awareness about my own body and improved my well-being. This is the reason why I will practise Pilates for the rest of my life.
After many years of practicing Pilates, I decided to do a Pilates Teacher Training and become YMCA awards accedited with a STOTT Pilates teacher trainer to share this wonderful practice, educate and let this experinece to be enjoyed by many more people!
My knowledge of Pilates continues expanding through my own practice, attending workshops and latest courses.
On my Beginners Pilates course you will learn a series of mat based Pilates exercises designed to develop core strength, flexibility, stability and coordination. These exercises will cover the five 5 basic principles of Pilates and will show you how to breath properly and position your body through the exercises. These principles will make you more aware of your ‘core’ and help you get better results from your workout.
Pilates is a total mind and body conditioning method suitable for everyone regardless of age and fitness level without taking a tall on your body.
