I have been practicing Pilates since 2009 and trained as a Pilates teacher at Harmonise, Brighton. I teach all levels of Pilates and am particularly interested in how Pilates can complement and be beneficial to other types of sports. My teaching style is inclusive and welcoming for all, and I believe that exercise should be informative, educational and fun.
I am also an avid runner alongside my Pilates, and run everything from 5k parkruns to 100 mile ultramarathons (and everything inbetween!) and I credit Pilates for keeping me injury free in my running. My classes, which are open to all, but will be particularly relevant to runners and other sporty people, will offer traditional Pilates, but with a particular emphasis on stretching and strengthening areas that are used in running.
I hold my YMCA awards Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates and am a member of REPS Level 3.
