Relaxation and Gentle Yoga with Dom Jarvis
(Wednesdays 19.30. Saturdays 12.15. £8.50 drop in or 10 class card)
The focus for the class is to tune into ourselves; adjusting the techniques to suit the individual and to cultivate the peace within.
We will practise gentle yoga poses and a few other relaxation techniques which may include guided meditation, breathing techniques, seeded meditation, self massage and sound.
The session is suitable for beginners or long term practitioners of yoga (or relaxing), young and old, weak or strong, no flexibility required.
Community Drop In Yoga Class
(Mondays 12.30 with Caroline. Fridays 12.30 with Laura)
This is a gentle class open to all and suitable for beginners.
We will practice various yoga postures and explore other methods of relaxation such as breathing techniques and different types of meditation.
Payment is by donation.
Pranayama and Meditation with Phoebe
(Mondays 8pm-9.15pm £9.50 drop in or 10 class card)
A chance to explore the many Pranayama (breathing techniques) of yoga and finishing with a meditation.
Pranayama (control of life force through breath) can help:
cleanse the body
clear the mind
rejuvenate and energise
increase metabolic function
attune the senses to the subtle energy field
direct subtle energy
Highly recommended for Yoga Teacher Trainees and those wishing to deepen their yoga experience. NOT suitable for pregnancy.
